VC is a small rescue organization and we can only continue to help animals with your support.  Our veterinary bills in the last 8 months exceeded $6,000.   That doesn’t include the cost of food and supplies.  All our animals are microchipped, de-wormed, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and have been given flea medication.  If they need additional care, they get that too.  So, for example, a couple of cats had urinary blockages which took many visits and thousands of dollars to treat.  We don’t receive any discounts from the vets, and pay the same rates as everyone else.  Also, some of these animals must be on expensive special diets to maintain their health.  The adoption fees don’t begin to cover the expenses associated with any of our adoptable animals.  Please consider donating any amount via the PayPal link below.  Because we are a 501(c)(3), your donations are tax deductible, and in accordance with IRS rules, any donations exceeding $250 will receive a letter from us acknowledging the gift.  You can also send checks.  To get the address, contact bergovoy@cox.net.
